An independent shortlist of presentation design studios doing the strongest work in 2026 — sales decks, board reports, fundraising pitches, conference keynotes, and the master-template work that lets your team build new decks themselves without losing brand consistency. Vetted, three references each, no paid placements.
Why presentation design needs its own shortlist
Three things separate presentation studios who consistently deliver from the rest:
- Editable handover. The studios who ship clean, structured PowerPoint or Keynote files with proper master slides are different from the ones who ship a PDF that looks great but you can’t update. The first kind retains clients for years; the second kind delivers one project and disappears.
- Charting at scale. A sales deck or board pack has 30–60+ charts. They all need to follow consistent visual treatment, or the deck reads as a patchwork. Studios with charting discipline produce decks that look unified; studios without produce decks that look like 60 different consultants worked on them.
- Sub-discipline specialisation. Sales decks, board reports, fundraising pitches, and conference keynotes are four very different briefs. Studios who specialise in one or two outperform studios who claim to do all four.
Common project profiles
- Sales deck redesign. Master template plus a 25–50 slide reference deck. £5–18k / $6–24k. 3–5 weeks. Most common entry-point.
- Quarterly board pack. Recurring engagement, typically with a retained studio. £3–8k / $4–10k per quarter. Studios who do this well handle the data-pull workflow themselves.
- Fundraising pitch. One-shot intensity. £8–25k / $10–35k for a 15–25 slide deck plus a “long version” for due diligence. 4–6 weeks (often less, painfully).
- Conference keynote. 30–80 slides, usually animated, with on-stage rehearsal support. £10–30k / $13–40k. Specialist subset of presentation design.
How we built this list
- Editable-master-template fluency — visible in their case studies as ongoing client engagements, not just one-off pieces.
- Charting discipline — consistent treatment across 30+ charts in a single deck.
- Sub-discipline specialisation — at least three published examples in the specific category they claim (sales / board / fundraise / keynote).

Frequently asked
PowerPoint or Keynote?
Both, depending on your team’s tooling. Most B2B work happens in PowerPoint; most US-tech and design-led companies use Keynote. Studios on this list typically work in both, but lead with one. Specify in your brief which file format your team needs to inherit.
What about Google Slides?
Smaller subset of studios. Google Slides has different design constraints (no custom fonts the way PowerPoint does, fewer animation primitives) — studios who work natively in it are different from those who design in PowerPoint and export. If your team works in Google Slides, mention it explicitly.
Can they handle ongoing slide refresh, not just one-off?
Yes — many of our presentation-design partners run retained relationships where they refresh decks quarterly or monthly. This is how the economics work for them long-term. Mention “ongoing engagement” in your brief and we’ll prioritise studios who explicitly retain clients.
How does this differ from your “infographic design” listicle?
Different studios, mostly. Infographic studios think in single-page editorial pieces; presentation studios think in deck systems and master slides. There’s some overlap (the strongest studios do both, well-distinguished) but most specialise in one.
Pitch deck design specifically?
Specialist subset — see our Best Pitch Deck Designers shortlist for studios focused specifically on fundraising pitches.
